TYPES OF TNB METERS

CORRECT INSTALLATION METHOD FOR A 1-PHASE METER BOARD

The TNB meter board height is 185 cm from floor level to the top of the meter board, and for 3-phase, the measurement is taken from the cut-off (fuse) opening.

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR APPLYING TNB METER (OVERHEAD)

• The TNB meter board height must be 185 cm from floor level to the top of the meter board. For 3-phase, the measurement is taken from the cut-off fuse opening.

• The cable must be installed properly — the cable should run outside the meter board, and no cut-off (TNB fuse) needs to be installed.

• Ensure there is a D-hook or L-bracket provided for overhead installation.
  
  

METHOD OF INSTALLING AN UNDERGROUND METER PANEL AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR AN UNDERGROUND METER BOX

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR APPLYING TNB OVERHEAD METER / METER INSTALLED ON FENCE

• The height of the TNB meter board must be 1.5 m from floor level to the top of the meter board, and for 3-phase, measurement is taken from the cut-off (fuse) opening.

• The cable must be installed properly — the cable shall run outside the meter board, and no cut-off (TNB fuse) is required to be installed.

• A meter enclosure/house must be constructed with the correct size (refer to image).

• Provide pipes and conduits for the routing of the TNB supply cable.
